23. September 2024 - Service Announcement Migration firewalls of the university administration on 15.10.2024, 17:00 -21:00
On 15.10.2024 from 17:00 until approximately 21:00, the existing firewalls of the university administration and the server services of the university administration will be migrated. Services and networks that are protected by one of the two firewalls will not be accessible or only accessible to a limited extent during this period.
The following restrictions are to be expected in the University Administration (Carolinum):
- Workstations within the university administration will not have a network connection over the wired network.
Wi-Fi will still be available and telephony will not be affected.
In addition, the following services will be unavailable or only available to a limited extent during this time:
- heiCO - Heidelberg CAMPUSonline
- Personnel administration (HIS-SVA, travel expenses)
- Enterprise resource planning system (SAP)
- Maintenance access to services that are secured by the firewall
