The URZ Opening Hours and Directions
We are happy to assist you in person at our contact points on the Im Neuenheimer Feld campus and in the Altstadt. At the IT Service Points at the University Computing Centre and University Library, you can get support for all your IT questions and problems.
URZ closed from 23.12.24 - 03.01.25
The URZ is closed from 23.12.2024 - 03.01.2025. From 23.12 - 06.01, the Ricoh Print Center will be open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by appointment only: printcenter-urz@service.ricoh.de. The IT service points at the URZ and Carolinum will be closed from 23.12. up to and including 6.1. On January 2 and 3, 2025, the IT service team will be available for you via the ticket system, by telephone and via heiCONF.

Directions
The University Computing Centre is located in the building “Im Neuenheimer Feld 330” on the University's natural science campus Neuenheimer Feld and can be reached easily by car and with public transport.
By car
- From the highway:
At the end of the highway, turn left in the direction of Chirurgie, cross the Neckar River via Ernst Walz Bridge. This puts you on Berlinerstraße; continue straight on Berlinerstraße and turn left at the third traffic light onto Im Neuenheimer Feld. After 300m, you will reach a parking lot on your right-hand side. - From Neckargemünd:
Following the street Uferstraße on the right (north) bank of the Neckar, take a slight right onto Posselstraße. This turns into Jahnstraße; at the traffic light, turn right onto Berlinerstraße and turn left at the third traffic light onto Im Neuenheimer Feld. After 300m, you will reach a parking lot on your right-hand side.
With public transport from Heidelberg Central Station
- Take tram line 21 or 24 (toward “Handschuhsheim”), get off at the “Technologiepark” stop, then walk approximately 300m west.
With public transport from the inner city
- From Universitätplatz or Bismarckplatz take bu sline 31 (toward "Neuenheim, Chirurgische Klinik"), get off at the “Pädagogische Hochschule” stop, then walk approximately 100m east.
