How-to Migrate your address book, calendar and settings to the new SOGo Web Portal
This how-to describes how to transfer your appointments, contacts and forwarding from the previous SOGo webmail interface (sogo01) to the new SOGo webmail interface (sogo02).

1. Open https://sogo01.urz.uni-heidelberg.de in your browser and log in with your Uni ID.

Migrate your address book
2. Click on “Address Book” in the menu bar on the upper left of your browser window.

3. Under "Address Books", right click on the address book that you would like to export (1). In the menu that appears, click on “Export Address Book...” (2).

4. Your browser will then download the address book as an .ldif file. On Windows, you can find the downloaded file in the “Downloads” folder.

5. Open https://sogo02.urz.uni-heidelberg.de and log in with your Uni ID.

6. Click on the “Address Book” icon on the upper right of your browser window.

7. Under “Address Books” click on the three dots to the right of “Personal Address Book” (1). Select “Import” from the pop-up menu (2).

8. Click "Upload".

9. In the “File Upload” window that appears, select the previously downloaded .ldif file by double-clicking it.

Your contacts should now be imported.
Please note: Due to a bug, the first contact in your address book from the .ldif file might not be imported. In this case, you will need to manually enter this contact into the address book.

Migrate your calendar
10. Open https://sogo01.urz.uni-heidelberg.de in your browser and (if necessary) log in again with your Uni ID.

11. Click on “Calendar” in the menu bar on the upper left of your browser window.

12. Under "Calendars", right click on the address book that you would like to export (1). In the menu that appears, click on “Export Calendar...” (2).

13. Your browser will then download the address book as an .ics file. On Windows, you can find the downloaded file in the “Downloads” folder.

14. Open https://sogo02.urz.uni-heidelberg.de in your browser and log in again with your Uni ID if you have been logged out.

15. Click on the “Calendar” icon on the top right. Then, under "Calendars", click on the three dots to the right of “Personal Calendar” (1). Select “Import” from the pop-up menu.

16. Click "Upload".

17. In the “File Upload” window that appears, select the previously downloaded .ics file by double-clicking it.

Your appointments should now be imported.

Migrate your out-of-office messages
18. Open https://sogo01.urz.uni-heidelberg.de in your browser and (if necessary) log in again with your Uni ID.

19. Click on “Preferences” in the menu bar on the upper left of your browser window.

20. This will open a new window. Click on the “Vacation” tab and copy the text of your auto reply message.

21. Open https://sogo02.urz.uni-heidelberg.de in your browser and log in again with your Uni ID if you have been logged out.

22. Click on the cog icon to open "Preferences".

23. Select “Mail” from the menu on the left. Click on the “Vacation” tab found in the top bar. Check the box "Enable vacation auto reply". Enter the previously copied text. Save your changes by clicking on the floppy disk icon on the right.

Migrate forwarding
24. Open https://sogo01.urz.uni-heidelberg.de in your browser and (if necessary) log in again with your Uni ID.

25. Click on “Preferences” in the menu bar on the upper left of your browser window.

26. This will open a new window. Click on the “Forward” tab and copy the email addresses in the box.

27. Open https://sogo02.urz.uni-heidelberg.de in your browser and log in again with your Uni ID if you have been logged out.

28. Click on the cog icon to open "Preferences".

29. Select “Mail” from the menu on the left. Click on the “Forward” tab found in the top bar. Check the box "Forward incoming messages". Enter the email addresses that you copied from the old web interface. Save your changes by clicking on the floppy disk icon on the right.

Migrate your signature
30. Open https://sogo01.urz.uni-heidelberg.de in your browser and (if necessary) log in again with your Uni ID.

31. Click on “Preferences” in the menu bar on the upper left of your browser window.

32. Go to the “IMAP Accounts” tab.
33. Click on your signature.

34. Copy the text of your signature.

35. Open https://sogo02.urz.uni-heidelberg.de in your browser and (if necessary) log in again with your Uni ID.

36. Click on the cog icon.

37. Under "Preferences", go to "Mail".
38. Select the “IMAP Accounts” tab in the top bar.
39. Click on the pen icon to the right of your email address.

40. Under “Settings” click on the drop down arrow to the right of your account.
41. In the field entitled "Signature", enter the previous copied signature text and click "OK". Save your changes by clicking on the floppy disk icon on the right.
