17 October 2023 - Service Announcement Information on the use of Adobe software
This morning the second Adobe Change (upgrade to the new Adobe ESM (Enterprise Storage Model) has been performed. As a result, you should currently be logged out of all Adobe applications.
In order to use the software, Users must log in again with their log-in data. The profile: “PC-LRZ-Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg” must be selected in order to be able to use the software license.
Detailed instructions of the registration process:
Step 1:
Open the Adobe application (in the example Adobe Acrobat Pro), whereupon after a short while the request to log in appears. Please log in using the login you know and confirm.
Step 2:
Please enter your password and confirm.
Step 3:
Afterwards you will receive information about where your cloud data is located. The data is currently not in the business profile that you must use to register for licensed use of the software.
Step 4:
To get access to your Adobe business license, please click on the profile: “PC-LRZ-Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg”. If you are missing cloud data, log in with your “personal profile” and back up your data.
