As of September 26, 2023, the web store (asknet), through which software was previously made available to members of Heidelberg University, has been shut down. As of now, it is no longer possible to purchase software licenses via the previous online portal.
Software orders
Software for which the University has
purchased licenses, e.g. under state or campus contracts, can be ordered
directly from the URZ. This also applies to software that was previously sold
via the online store, such as Adobe or SPSS. The complete offer can be found
in our service catalog. The ordering procedure is explained in the respective
entry of the software. If you would like to use software that you cannot find
in the service catalog, please contact your IT representative. Software can be
purchased from various resellers of your choice. Please observe the applicable
procurement rules, especially with regard to IT supplies.
What happens to your data in the online store?
For
a transitional period until January 2, 2024, employees can continue to log in
to their customer account in the former online store, e.g., to access download
files. After that, the account including the associated data will be deleted.
We therefore ask you to back up your data beforehand.
