How-to Export a digital corona certificate as a PDF
Both the CovPass and the Corona-Warn app have options to export COVID certificates (like vaccine certificates or certificates of recovery). These certificates correspond to those issued by your doctor, vaccination center or pharmacy. The certificate can also be saved as a PDF and printed out.
CovPass app: Export a certificate as a PDF
1. Open the CovPass app.
2. On the homepage select your certificate.

3. On the next page, scroll down and click on the certificate again.

4. Scroll down. Under the blue button "Display QR code“, there is a white button with the text ”Create EU printout“. Click on this button.

5. Confirm that you have read the notification by clicking "Next".
6. When you click on "Next", you will be shown a variety of options for downloading or sharing your certificate.

Corona-Warn app: Export a certificate as a PDF
1. Open the app (Version 2.10 or newer).
2. Select the option "Certificates“ from the bottom menu.

3. Then click on your certificate code.

4. Scroll down and click on the certificate that you would like to export.

5. Now you should see your certificate QR code.
- On Android: Click on the three points (⋮) in the upper right. This will open a menu. Click on "Display Print Version“.
- On iOS: Scroll to the bottom, click on “More” and then select “Display Print Version”.

6. In the next step, you will be provided with a few important statements about the export file. Click on "Next".

7. Then you will be shown a printable version, which is identical to the one from your doctor, vaccination center or pharmacy. Now you can either print or share your certificate by selecting one of the icons on the upper right.
8. To save your corona certificate as a PDF file:
- On Android: click on the printer symbol. In the next window, click on "Select printer“ and select ”Save as PDF".
- On iOS: select the share symbol (square with an arrow) and then on "Save to files".
