Central telefax server
The central telefax server enables paperless fax communication for Heidelberg University. Faxes can be sent from and received by a PC. Even in the age of email, faxing is still an important, often legally binding way of communication.
The central telefax service allows users to send and receive electronic faxes. Using the telefax server's web portal, users can send Office and PDF files as well as short messages. Incoming faxes are sent directly to your email inbox and converted to PDF. If you want to use this service, your institute's telephone representative needs to activate a licence for you. He or she will also inform you about the one-off licence fee.
