Training Microsoft SharePoint – Introduction
In this course, you will receive an introduction to and overview of the most important SharePoint functions. SharePoint is a platform for collaboration within working groups, research projects, departments, institutes, etc.
The URZ offers SharePoint as an "on premises solution", this means that all data remains on URZ run servers. You will learn the most important functions for information exchange as well as coordination and collaboration. You will also learn how SharePoint can meaningfully supplement existing IT systems, such as file servers, email and groupware or document management systems
Please note: This course will be conducted in German.
Course contents:
- Basics skills for and structure of SharePoint
- Collaboratively editing documents
- Using OneNote Notebooks for meeting minutes, documenting the work process and project organization.
- Tables
- General collaboration of working groups via SharePoint

- PC or laptop with an internet connection, microphone and (if necessary) webcam
- A university username (Uni ID or project number)
