Project bwDigiRecht
Establishing a nationwide legal information center for digital teaching
The project was developed under leadership of Heidelberg University as part of the Hochschulnetzwerks Digitalisierung der Lehre Baden-Württemberg (HND-BW, Baden-Württemberg University Network for Digitization of Teaching). It ties in with the joint project of the Baden-Württemberg universities “Partnership for innovative e-examinations (PePP),” and in particular with the findings from the cross-sectional cluster Law & Acceptance - Clarification of legal issues & sustainable competence building (QRA2). The aim of bwDigiRecht is to establish a legal information center for digital teaching. This should support universities and colleges in Baden-Württemberg in finding legally compliant solutions for overcoming new challenges in digital teaching.
Project management is the responsibility of the University Computing Centre of Heidelberg University, while project coordination will be undertaken by its partner, KIT.
Status and Duration
The current period of this project is from 01 May 2024 to 31 December 2025.
