Service Time Server

Clock synchronization for computer systems

The URZ operates a time server that sets the exact time using the NTP protocol (Network Time Protocol). The NTP server is synchronized to a radio clock via the DCF77 signal transmitted by the atomic clocks of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) Braunschweig.
The server can be used worldwide without any restrictions.
