08 August 2024 - Support New IT Service Point in the Carolinum from September
From 03 September 2024, there will be a new IT Service Point in the Carolinum on Seminarstraße 2, which will replace the previously existing IT Service Point in the University Library. Twice a week, our IT service team will be available at the Service Portal for current and prospective students and offer personal support for your IT questions and problems.
Better Location on the Altstadt Campus
In July and August, the IT service was already active at the Service Portal for prospective and current students. The location has shown its value as it combines extensive information, advice and administrative services from the student administration office and advisory services. For students and employees on the Alstadt campus, the central contact point is easily accessible. The new location in the university administration building will replace the former IT Service Point in the University Library (IZA).

- Opening hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00-15:00 In April and October, also Mondays from 10:00-15:00
Support and Consultation for Students and Employees
The IT Service team offers advice and support, both in person and digitally, for the following services and much more:
- First level support for users of URZ IT services
- Setting up Wi-Fi and VPN on work laptops, smartphones and tablets
- Project number administration
